Well, as we sweep up the tinsel & holiday "fluff" here at the shoppe..it's time to reflect..and it's been a GOOD YEAR ! Not a record breaker by no means .... but eventful, nonetheless . I want to sincerely THANK ALL MY CUSTOMERS who stopped by this year....I know that the economy has made us all make changes but I truly am striving to provide GREAT PRICED ITEMS which are affordable for all !

We had a GREAT RESPONSE to RELAY for LIFE ~ our SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT was wonderful ~ PROM SEASON was as HECTIC /CRAZY as always (in a good way) ~ SUMMER was to short and ballgames to long ! :) The lake was a sanctuary for rest and renewal ~ outdoors with the boys was gr8....school has been good ....Fall was pretty ...everyone has been reasonably healthy ( except my 2 wk stint with sinus )..... so in conclusion ....LIFE IS GOOD and i look forward to the next year with optimism and grace...never knowing what may lie ahead but willing to face it ...that's LIFE so ENJOY IT :) Here's to another YEAR ~ tah * tah

This is the NEW IMPROVED EDITION of the Warren Co. Craft Fair .....and personally , I feel like it is a FRESH NEW START to a wonderful opportunity for Warren County ! Emphasis will be placed on TRUE ART FORMS with lots of LIVE EXHIBITS, FOOD SAMPLINGS(Goolsby Sausage), GOURMET FOOD COURT (Diane Morton/The Cottage) , MUSIC, LOCAL ARTISANS EXHIBITS, and so much more ! I will elaborate more in the future ~ but just wanted to share the news about our FUN NIGHT !!! Well, we just received our two "SECRET WEAPONS" ....Raven's Original Dip Mix (makes a cheeseball or dip) and Ravens Raspberry Jalapeno Gourmet Jam ! Oh me...if you have never tried these two little goodies you are missing out on some EASY goodness ! The dip/cheeseball is effortless and the jam is too !! Sweet with alittle heat is the way I like to describe the jam ~ great onto a bar of cream cheese or spoon on top of your grilled pork tenderloin/chicken after its plated . We even left out early so everyone could socialize :) And yes , I know my oldest has his eyes closed but they could not wait another moment for another picture ! Here's a COOL PLACE to COOL OFF.....Fall Creek Falls ! It's really a neat place to explore practically in our own backyard ! So in an effort to "tame boredom" I packed up the "cubs" for alittle ADVENTURE ! Actually , I never told them where we were headed til we got there (hint : it keeps all those MOANS under control)....but let me tell you GEORGE HOLE is a HIT for BOYS !!! They loved the swimming hole / dam area. It's so naturally beautiful there with the swinging bridge , trails , & rocks to explore ~ TOTAL BOY FUN. Actually, I think any child would love it ! The water was so COLD ~ yes COLD ~ from being "creek fed" so the boys loved that ! We stayed for a couple of hours then headed over to the lodge for the FRIDAY NIGHT SEAFOOD BUFFET ! Shew, that was a BELT STRETCHER for sure ! We dove in on those crab legs/ shrimp/ catfish & frog legs like crazy :) So if your bunch is BORED ~ head up to THE FALLS for some summertime fun ~ p.s. they have a great swimming pool , old fashion paddle boats & golf course also !!
